Venturi, Scott Brown & Associates, Architects/Planners (VSBA): This 141,517 sf, $61 million facility will accommodate teaching laboratories for the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology and interdisciplinary science instructional space and support. The remainder will house the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), Women in Science and Engineering (WISE), the Life Sciences, Values and Society Program. and undergraduate and graduate Neuroscience programs, as well as support space. In addition there will be public spaces to create a welcoming environment for student and faculty interaction. Competitive Bid-Build: Work secured/performed under a competitive bid of detailed cost analysis, equipment, labor & material estimation, value engineering; as outside Consultant to Specialty Contractor in the preparation of quantified scope addressing a pre-specified Bid Pack and other related tasking. |

As a Bid-Build Contractor contributing experience, professionalism, and the resilience of performing tasks at or above a strict set of criteria and standards, accommodating all requirements at a competitive price, within the time constraints mandated. Final scope of work was large and all inclusive of multiple trades including coordination necessary to work double shifts, weekends and to accommodate the specific requirements of the job, sporadic field requests and numerous change orders. |

University: In order for WSU to fulfill its mission of excellence, required careful consideration and planning in its growth. As a Specialty Bid-Build Contractor providing the largest number of skilled tradesmen, materials, and equipment required to complete the new Administrative Building, commonly known as the AAB and it’s multi-storied Atrium enclosure. At approximately $23.7 Million the AAB program consists of 4 stories, encompassing more than 132,000 square feet. This hansom design occupies a picturesque campus location and boasts of a four story, naturally day lighted atrium. |

At the time of construction this $56.3 Million (approx.), Ann Arbor retail center with nearly one-half mile of store front and 373,361 sf gross leaseable area, enclosed more retail space than any other new project of its kind in the region. Work performed as a specialty contractor, contributing the largest work force, to the most comprehensive scope of tasks to be awarded under a competitive bid-build contract. |
